The company was formerly known as Nippon Kako Co., Ltd. and changed its name to Nippon Yakin Kogyo Co., Ltd. in 1942. Nippon Yakin Kogyo Co., Ltd. was incorporated in 1925 and is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan.
